All others are restricted to a lease of not more than 55 years.<br /><br />Most leases here are prepaid and not much different than buying....except you only get 55 years. It has pluses and minuses, in that supply and demand prevail and restricting wealthy potential buyers from east Asia has driven land value and realty activity back into the middle 20th century.<br /><br />What will happen in 2011 is also unclear.
